Well I would except that it drains the battery like none other and it always makes me worried that I'm gonna fry my phone. Any suggestions?

It doesn't drain the battery and a stable kernel won't fry your phone.
I hold the power button and flip the vibrate button 3 times once a week. Is that a Luna restart?
