Jacka$$. Someone has a legit complaint about the way the phone works (or doesn't), and all you can do is insult him. Pre fanbois are even worse than Apple fanbois. The simple truth is that the Pre should be a beta. It is woefully, abjectly, incomplete, lacking features that other smartphones have had for years and years, and can't do things that phones the telcos give away for free can do.
And don't give me the stupid "It's version 1.0" or the "It took Apple years to do [feature of your choice] excuse. The Pre needs to compete with what's available today, not what was available 3 years ago. Although, to be honest, it doesn't even compete very well with those, either.
The Pre does only three things better than my Treo: multi-tasking, WiFi, and GPS. Unfortunately, most of the apps it has to multi-task are weak, at best, non-existent in most cases. My Treo has a far better calendar (Datebk6), a better task app, (much) faster, more flexible launchers (Treo Launcher, Aardquick), a better phone app (TakePhone), a more capable texting app, email and calendar searching, an arguably better email app (Chatter), Documents To Go for Office doc editing, full backup and restore capabilities, a removable memory card, and many, many customization & configuration options (choose your own alert tones, assign ringtones by person, prevent alarms from sounding during a call, turn the radio on and off at set times, oh, the list goes on and on), an alert light in multiple colors so I can tell what's going on without turning the phone on.....
I'm getting tired of listing them.
Does the Pre have the potential to be a great device? It sure does. Is it a great device now? Not hardly, although I suppose it might seem that way to someone who's never had a smartphone before, and thought a Moto Razor was cool.
