Does it have to be a video because I would perfer to just post screenshots since most of the hacks can be expressed in pictures. Btw, I couldn't help by criticize the way you were using your Pre.

I saw that it took you a couple tried to pull up the launcher by the up swipe gesture.

The website asks for the Windows Media Player plugin since that is what is needed to run. :\

I have a few more mods that I forgot to include in the video such as: the hidden clock feature, transparent unlock screen, custom video app background, and a couple more minor mods.

I'll be uploading the youtube vid to the original post shortly. I've been alerted that the vid posted on my website asks some users to install a plug-in.

Im digging your tweaks. looks very sleek, clean, and put together. That's how I prefer mine also. its easy to go overboard and end up with a theme or design that appears inconsistent. Good job.

For some reason, my changes to the video player background will not take effect. Have you encountered this prob?

Anyone have the settings I would need to change to have (4)icons per row instead of 5 which is in the "More icons per row" patch?

to modify the text/chat app, you'll need to change the .css stylesheet and replace the appropriate chat balloon images. you can find out more in this thread http://forums.precentral.net/web-os-...-balloons.html

to be honest, you really don't even need to know linux/webos to make these changes. i believe you can make all these changes WITHOUT even rooting your pre. you should be able to do everything through WEBOS Quick Install. All you're doing is pulling the files off the phone, modifying them, and sending it back to the phone... granted, patching is more efficient than doing the process manually.

I think it would be a feature that vibrates the phone when you touch it. So, not localized haptic feedback.
