Am I deaf or something. With the pre in its leather side case i can barely hear the new sound if at all. What's wrong with giving us a volume control for the alert then we could all be happy

How did you use another tone?? I have no idea how to change that. I miss that about my Blackberry. I could have a different ring tone for each email and text.

Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full!

The new sound is terrible. I've missed text messages only because the new sound is too muffled and quiet. It also makes the phone sound as if the speaker is broken or cheap. Terrible idea.
