I'm appreciative of these posts. I know something will eventually happen and my beloved Pre will hit the ground. I'm encouraged to hear it is able to withstand these unfortunate accidents. I've wondered if it is better built than it seems.
Had mine on my lap driving to the gas station, got out the car and dropped it on the ground....small scratch @ the top so I exchanged it
