And if the other thread is correct about it already being installed on Pres in the UK, what's the hold up? Please don't tell me it is the app store.

And I don't know why I really care. Since I don't use the Pre in a corporate environment, this update probably holds little of interest for me.

Sprint usually doesn't push the updates until down-time (i.e. after rush hour..)

so we may see this still today (doubt it tho)

I could be wrong, but I believe the last update came late afternoon out here on the West Coast... maybe around 4-ish? I got 3:40 now... I'm not holding my breath!

Here's a quick Q.

so I'm still running 1.0.3 will i be able to jump straight to 1.1 or should i download 1.0.4 first, i just realized that after i got my pre exchanged, i never updated the os.

The biggest issue about these update rumors are not going to be an issue with when it will come, but when they do finally get here, what will it actually have in it? How much of the actual upgrade package is rumored as well? I'm almost afraid to get excited on the day because i have a feeling its not really going to be that great as we may think anyway.I do hope i am wrong. But until then, i will continue to homebrew and enjoy it.

it updates to the latest. you can jump firmwares if you are running an unusally older one.
