I have 4 lines on SERO, and I can assure you that it is not dead. In fact, it is the best thing going. I'm paying less for 500 minutes each line, unlimited texts and unlimited high speed data, than lots of people pay just for data.

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually start activating Pre on SERO plans, depending on how well the launch goes and if sales meet expectations. I'm not holding my breath, but it wouldn't surprise me.

We don't mind paying more for having the latest phones and coolest devices. So what you get have a sero plan, there are way too many people who have made the switch from sero to Everything plans for sprint to even think about keeping those plans around much longer....U know when your contract is up, sprint has the right to drop you, sero and the negative -$$$ your bringing with it, if you don't move to a new plan. Yup just like they had the right to drop people who made too many care calls and otherwise cost sprint lotsa $$$. The $ you bring in won't put a dent in the subsidy they put out for the PRE. That's common sense. Why though are you making a big forum stink about the making the switch? So pre users can call and say the pricing difference is not fair and that either sprint fixes it or they might take their $$$$ else where?

Sprint won't drop anyone on sero... that would be dumb...

Although, I agree I don't understand the big stink some SERO users are making over the pre and Sprint's plans to limit the phone to certain plans... I'm not worried though... no biggie...

If sprint was on a major road to end all sero plans, they would simply not allow sero on any cell phone but the cheap ones... I activated my new Treo Pro earlier this week on sero... lol

Some of us have 5 lines on a non sero acct. We would be happy to upgrade 1-2 of the lines but not all 5.

Sprint has a winner here with the Pre. They should be able to incease their service revenue- but it would also be nice if there was a wee bit of flexibility for long time high mrc billers.
