I'm thinking of buying the Pre from a BB or RS in order to get the instant rebate, but I want to make sure that I would still be able to return it within the 30-day window, in case I didn't like it, and switch back to my old phone.

I would assume I could do this at BB or RS, but I just wanted to make sure.

i think both offer 30-day returns. I'm always an advocate of buying items from the actual stores, i.e, Apple from Apple stores, Dell from Dell Online, etc. instead of 3rd-party resellers. I'm only going to buy the Pre at Best Buy because of the instant savings. This price should have been the same across the board. At least during its initial launch.
