I worked retail a number of years. We were alway permitted to hold devices for a short time, if the customer left contact information.

Which at BB, is against policy.

And they're definitely not holding something that is that hot.

Not to mention accepting tips from customers is ground for termination.

Well, believe me, we all knew that what i was asking for (to hold it) was against the rules... but lets face it... a tip is a tip... & i told them i would make it worth it for them to do this... as per the hold... it would literaly be about 20 - 45 min all together... not like days...
