I doubt ,
if they keep watching such things , then Pre will definitely Pre -Historic :-).
The more I wait , the more I am thinking the date is going to be in June.

Few things they have done in the past like handing these to movie stars shows that the product is almost ready. On the other hand none from the likes of engadget, gizmodo, slashgear, treocentral .... etc got their hands on it.

My assumption is that the product is ready feature wise , but not perfect, i.e. occasional crash or sluggishness.... etc.
And the second point is , PALM might be testing the waters with that Mojo SDK. They might want to make sure at least few applications are available at the launch time.
