Are there any issues with using the Pre2 this late in it's life?
I switched to a Bold 9930 about 2 years ago for work, but I started playing with the new Balckberry OS 10 phones recently and started realizing how much I miss webOS -- even with the regular "too many cards" stuff.
FYI (FWIW), the Verizon "share everything" plan includes free WiFi hotspot (and unlimited SMS). Depending on your family members' data needs, that might be the way to go. My wife and I use the 1gb plan, and have gone over only 2 months in the past year ($30 total extra cost). We're happy with it, particularly since I use the hotspot with my TouchPad several times a month (when not near WiFi I trust).
