Wife's Pixi had a bad ringer switch , now touchscreen is cracked/dead.

We are trying to avoid activating a new phone on Sprint since they went to charging the $10 fee for even 3g phones.

Can I swap the radio from her phone into the new phone? Would it then have the same ESN and already be activated?

That might not be a bad idea. It should work. I wonder if you would have to copy the phone databases over?

In fact, that would save all of your contacts and stuff
