    OK, I just ditched my Blackberry 7290 and got the Treo 650 and have not looked back since. I need to know if there is a way to keep the phone from going into sleep mode. I do understand that it does this to conserve battery life but it can get very frustrating. I would like for the light to turn off but still be able to view the screen. Can this be done? Any suggestions of software that may help this be acheived? Thanks!
    Thank You,

    There are a bunch of utilities that do this. I know one is:
    Super Utility
    It'll let you set the sleep mode to unlimited (never) I think. It also has 10 min which is far more than the max 3 min that the Treo offers.
    Also I use 'Profiles" to change my ringer volumes, auto off time, and phone on/off state at different times of the day. One of the options is "Stay on when plugged in." This will keep the screen on when attached to a charger, but all ow it to auto-off when disconnected. This is one other option.
    There are more that do similar things, these are just two I'm familiar with.
    Treo 750 (AT&T)
    Treo600->Treo650->Cing8525->Blackberry 8700c->Treo750->AT&T Tilt->Treo750->iPhone 3G

    Thank you for the quick reply. I am going to look into both of them. Once again, thanks for your time.
