I have my delay security auto lock set for 2 hours. I woke up this morning and my phone was not locked. Is this a known issue? I did a search but could not find anything. My T3 had a similiar problen - it would not lock if set for over 1 hour. I have reset to a 1 hour delay on my Treo 650, but time has not elapsed yet. anyone else have this problem?

    i have a VZW, 1.03, hardware B. thanks.

Yes, it's a known issue; basically, any delay longer than 1 or 2 minutes doesn't seem to work. Investigate a 3rd party security app (like TealLock, mSafe, etc). There are a few threads on this (use "Autolock" as your search term).

What a joke! This kind of issue makes the 650 a substandard product.

I was having trouble with the security app (won't lock at preset time). I turned off network time and it works perfectly now. Try it and let us know if it works for you.

Use PdaDefense Pro (now SureWave Defense) with a delay of 1 hour after power-off and works great. It encrypts all checked databases (AES-256) if of more than 1 hour exactly.
FYI it does not encrypt the sd card (Treo 650 issue). Use also msafe for extra security features, however SureWave Defense rules the time off. App is very stable and user is able to manually dial the phone (from locked-out screen) and while the databases are locked.
Love this app and use it since my Palm V.

I use msafe, but I think I'm going to look into Surewave. Thanks nuts.
