I downloaded ns basic and am not sure if this does what I need.

I am trying to write a simple app to make a copy of a set of specific files at timed intervals or upon launching (or other trigger).

I was a developer in a past life, but the basic environment seems to be very "screen" and action driven. My application will simply execute in background and go away - no user interation required or desired.

It is a very simple file copy program and no, existing backup sw et. al. will not suffice.
