I started with a Blackberry and changed to TREO for the Palm apps.
My first Cingular Treo was a 600, then I got a 650 for the Bluetooth Motorola headset (which has such low volume its useless in the car--but I digress...).
The first 650 could not be activated by Cingular even after two days of trying at two different stores and the kind folks on the telephone. They returned it to the MFG as a faulty phone [ahhh for a 37 cent piece of plastic holding the SIM card loosely].
My second 650 constantly froze (and I soft/hard reset several times a day reloading all my apps and Outlook info everynight) and I have uninstalled and reinstalled every app, and the TREO 650 disc onto XP numerous times. Got so tired of it failing during every other phone call with a full signal I got a new one overnighted to me... [ahhh for a 37 cent piece of plastic holding the SIM card loosely].
My third 650 has had the same problems but even more frequently--every call! I'm a certified Master Reseter now! I'm going to try the loose sim card paper stuff technique--WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL CORPORATE TREO and CINGULAR ABOUT THIS FIX???!?!?!?!? [ahhh for a 37 cent piece of plastic holding the SIM card loosely].
