Sprint Treo 650 v1.12 update


Recently both MMPlayer and PTunes have started playing back my MP3 files in a "tinny" fashion. The full acoustical range has seem to have disappeared.

I play ShoutCast stations with no problems but the MP3 files are CRAP.

Also, the files do playback fine on PC with any software I use (ITunes, Winsuck, Rhapsody, Winamp, etc).

Try moving your headphone adapter around. My first Treo started exhibiting that problem, and moving the jack around would fix it, though eventually the headphone jack stopped working and I had to get the Treo replaced. Sounds like your audio jack is going bad.
