    I'm getting a general message that Transport Monitor fails to open when I try to HotSync, and even when I start up my computer. I have even tried reinstalling the entire software, but still the same message. Does anyone know what caused this or how to fix it?

    Do a search here and also check the PalmOne web site under support -> Mac -> hotsync.

    Normally this requires repairing permissions with disk utility and throwing out a pref file.

    If you're on Tiger there's a new Palm Desktop available.
