Here's two new things I found as a result of the 1.12 update.
1. Under "phone preferences" there is now an option to turn on/off the "add unknown phone numbers to contact" after calls. I recall there being a discussion that once you turned this feature off there was no way to turn it back on.

2. Under "general preferences" you can now choose to turn off the blinking green LED when in coverage.

These are new to me, and I apologize if they've already been posted.

I figured it was almost impossible for these to have gone unnoticed for this long!! I just didn't see where they were mentioned.

FWIW, I don't see those features on the upgraded, unlocked GSM version screens.

I don't seem to have these features with my unlocked Cingular, upgraded to 1.13

They are there on my Sprint Treo 1.12 - and I have now turned off the "add unknown phone numbers to contact". I knew about the LED, but not this one - thanks!!
