I Just got my new Verizon 650 and several times now I have gotten an empty alert popup when trying to take a picture.

Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

You've pressed to long on the button - if you hold the center button down it'll take you to Alerts, it doesn't matter which application you're in. Just press the center button lightly when you want to take a picture.
