Alright, I'll admit that I searched the archives and found a ton of information regarding this but need it - in plain english - as I'm kinda' computer and Treo challenged...

1. What software do I need to install on my home PC (Windows XP) to copy the DVD in the first place - have the DVD r/w drive?

2. Then, what do I do with it?

3. How much or how big an SD card do I need for a standard feature length movie.

4. How do I transfer to the SD card?

5. How do I get it to play on the Treo?

6. Do I need new or additional software for the Treo?

7. Anything I'm missing?

There's a real basic article on it over at mytreo.net posted yesterday that might be good for you to start with. DVD decrypter and pocket divx encoder are the PC tools used (free) and you can use TCMP to play the ouput (also free) on the 650 and it works great. Full length movies are going to be around 140-300mb depending on various encoding options/tools used...so get at least a 512 or 1gb card... card reader to transfer from PC to SD...good luck

And do a Google search for that type of card. Make sure it's a SD (Secure Digital) card. See what prices you find.

Depends on what else you want to use your Treo for.

Put MMplayer in your phone and use Pocketdvd studio to make the movies on your PC.
