I have a Treo 600. Recently I purchased an expansion card to free up
some space on the phone. I followed the instructions in the manual
(page 107) and transferred every program that would transfer to the
expansion card from the phone. The transferred programs work fine,
just as they did before I made the transfer. Once I transferred the
files, I discovered that I created several problems:

    1. The screen with the dial pad had a label at the bottom with four
    Top: Favorites
Bottom: Phone Magic (a substitute for Contacts)
    Left: Applications
    Right: Camera

After the transfer the Bottom label disappeared. I cannot find or
access the Phone Magic data base. The information is still there.
When I send or receive a call from a number stored in the phone, the
    correct information pops up.

What did I do? Where did it go? How can I restore it?

    2. Since I transferred the programs to the expansion card, I can no
longer hotsync the phone. I get a message:

"The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could
not be established. Please check your setup and try again."

I have checked the hotsync setup on my computer. Nothing has been
    changed from the installation.

Can someone help me or tell me where to go? Politely!

    Many thanks!

Im not an expert, but I recall reading programs on the expansion card that use a database, or use a database that the included programs (contacts, datebook, memos, etc...) use must reside in main memory or they wont work properly. Tried moving those programs back to main memory?
