Where on earth did you find that?
Hmmm from an Asian PDA forum I visit all the time... man I am... excited? XD
Any other info??
man, slick GUI
That's all I got lol... and the original post says it might be... a PS job... I'll leave that to the PS pros to find out if it is a PS job, which I hope NOT...
fair enough...all you PS experts...rip this one apart :)
Man OS 6 on 650... dreamy XD
Do you have the link to the Asian PDA forum? Thanks!
Yeah sure, here the link:

Warn you though, they are in Chinese ONLY...
one way this could be done without photoshop is simple.
This how the guys at mytreo.net did their april fool's gag. They took a screen shot of a ppc device and just displayed it on the 650 screen.
Would it be possible to get these screen shots in the above pics using the cobalt similator?
LOL It's possible yet if it IS true... hoy! XD
Is that Chinese or Japanese?

Yes I was there thanks but is that Chinese or Japanese?
first post said, going to dream of it tonight.
2nd post basically meant ahhhhh...like you guys here.
rest were some jargon that i cannot comprehend.
Well isn't that there interesting...
Yes I was there thanks but is that Chinese or Japanese?
read....It says Chinese!
Sure its not Mongolian :D ?
The screen shots of Cobalt appear to be in traditional Chinese, which are mainly used in Taiwan and Hong Kong. HTC is based in Taiwan, so this kind of makes sense....
Thanks for the link, Steve.
read....It says Chinese!
Perhaps he needs to learn to read English first
That looks great but unfortunately it's no proof at all. Too easy to fake.
Sure its not Mongolian :D ?
Naw...think that's Magnolian.
Looks exciting, but I agree that it's no proof at all. While the screenshots look legit as a possibility for Cobalt, I wouldn't put money on that Treo being real. Even if it was a Treo, I'd wonder if it has the same insides as our 650s.
Well, the photo isn't a fake. I can see barrel distortion in the screen portion and the exposure looks accurate. What they probably did is modify a couble cobaly screenshots and display them with an image viewer on the 650. Here's to hoping it's real.
my close ups suck but here ya go
you can view the shot in pics/vid and you can have os 6 too :)
What language is that :D ?
Probably some PS expert will load a pocketPC OS into our Treo 650 ;)

It's nice to see everyone here isn't as lazy as me. Nice shots, albeit a bit out of focus.
That's nothing. I have PalmOS X running on mine and you'll never know where I got it. :)
LOL I never thought of that... yeah lol let's put DOS on our 650s! XD
That's nothing. Look what I can do with my Treo.
Haha! Me next!

Surprise! Surprise! and the date of the article is April 1, 2005. :p
that was good...can I request one with KDE and running Debian?
I'd like to request a Gnome theme...and an Ubuntu background image. I'm eatin' that distro all up!
I believe this image is about as real as Ernest Borgnine's performance in that one Muppet Show episode, but does anyone know what the battery icon and antenna reception icon look like when run on the simulator? Do they differ from what should be displayed on an actual handheld device?
In the second picture, at the top of the list, it say's WinSockMod, surely that suggests it's running on a Windows PC ;)
The Treo is perfect with OS 5.4
Why care about 6.x?
It's the best device ever.
BOOTM
6.1 has real multi tasking. So you can goto Blazer and start loading a page then go to Datebook to check some dates, then go back to blazer and have the page loaded and ready to go...
It would bring the Treo/Tungsten/Zire up to par with the Pocket PC's and then some.
