With Sprint you do have the Lockline insurance option. You should be sure to look into that. An extra $5 a month for the coverage and a $50 deductable if you need a replacement, but its cheaper than a new T650. Covers most anything.

You can only sign up within the first 30 days of having the T650s.

OK, got the Sprint phones now. I had to update them all to 1.08 from 1.03. I had an Unlocked Treo 650. I am trying to restore everything from a SD card (backup of Unlocked Treo 650 used on T-Mobile) to the Sprint Treo 650. If I restore everything, I get the Sprint Treo 650 stuck in a relooping reset. If I restore most of the files that I think I need, I lose mt reg codes - because the HotSync name is not the same. Is there a way to change my HotSync name without SYnc'ing with a PC?

When I changed my hotsync id, I lost my codes as well. But getting my codes back wasn't too bad. They're either at the website where you purchased the software, or just send a quick email to the developer, and they'll email you the registration code.

Let me clarify. I did not change my Hotsync name. The new unit does not yet have one. I sync with my work PC and I will be out of the office all week. I want to load all of the stuff of my SD backup. What file do I need to restore so that my HotSync name is on the new Treo?

I found the old app called changename and it allowed me to add the name.
