I'm pretty sure that companies aren't allowed to bill your CC until they're ready to ship it, unless they specifically state that they're taking your $$ as a deposit or something. They can issue an authorization for the amount, but cant finalize it. If they do nothing, the auth expires after a few days. At least I think that's the way it works. You might check w/your CC customer service. Sorry you're having bad luck with them - like I wrote above, they shipped after a couple of days. - mark
