When I hold down the red button to start up the phone/radio on my 650, the Cingular welcome tone that plays is quite loud and distorted. I don't think it was always this loud, but I haven't found a volume control for it. Does anyone know where this level can be set?

Except mine was turned off by itself. So here is how you do it.

Pref --> Sonds & alerts --> Tap on drop down menu next to word "Applications" --> General -->System Volume. Tap on it. It sounds like your's is on 4. Change that to what ever number you like.
