    Every time I sync the Treo 600, Windows searches for the hardware and can not install it correctly. It wipes the Treo clean each time. I have followed all of the steps on the palmone support site but have had no luck. It seems as if Windows can not find the right driver, even though I manually direct it to the folder where it exists. If there is an existing version of the driver installed that is interfering, I can't find it. Any help would be appreciated...

    Are you using the version of Palm Desktop that was supplied with the Treo 600? Does your Windows account have the Admin role applied to it? When you attempt to HotSync, does the Palm appear in the Windows Device Manager?
