I have a strage icon showing up on my toolbar to the right of the Bluetooth icon only in phone mode. It looks like a target with a red line passing through it.
Does anyone know what this is and how do I get rid of it.

or to save you time, its the ell gps location thingy for us exclusivly by 911 (at the moment) You can turn it on or off in the phone prefrences. Unfortunatly there is no way to remove the icon.

This is odd as I have a GSM phone made for the Asian/Hong Kong Market.
Is there a way to reset the phone to its original factory settings?

I think this thread and the one to which you were referred pretty much covers the reason for the icon. But, if you wish to reset your phone to its original state you can read about the Hard Reset here.
