As a side bar, Kinoma and Fireviewer both support streaming video on the Treo. Using Kinoma player, you can access vid feeds in kinoma format for streaming...

The reason the HomePod software didn't work is that it doesn't contain the GlooNet components needed to run the service.

In any event, download the Mac installer and you should be able to get it up and running on your Treo 650.

It still is looking for Homepod application (after installing GlooServer). Something in the code is still looking for the Homepod Audio Server. So I left both installed and it seems to work now...

Looking forward to testing it out!

I installed GlooNet for Mac OSX, but when I go to the Connection Manager, enter my user name and password and click Connect, I get the error message:

    "Starting GlooNet Server...
    GlooNet server is already running.
    Welcome to Macintosh.
    Initializing network
    Starting Gateway
GlooNet Library server (867) did not complete successfully.
The following StartupItems failed to properly start:
/Library/StartupItems/GlooNet - execution of Startup script failed
    Startup complete."

What am I doing wrong? I am running OS 10.3.9. Thanks!

What player are you using to play songs streamed by Gloonet? When I click on a song, Blazer gives me a message saying "this device does not support this file type" and asking me if I want to download the file to my SD card. I have used RealPlayer to play MP3 on my 650.

It is free, and works great going from my home desktop to my laptop. I also got it to work on my 650 by downloading Pocket Tunes. Still wondering if there is a way to make it work with Real Player.
