A while back I emailed Peter Skillman at P1 about the sound and other problems. Just got an cc email in which he forwarded my email to somebody else at P1 named Lynnie (possibly "Lynnie Ng") so at least they are looking into it.

    Hi Lynnie,

Here is a customer critique Sprint 650 audio quality. I believe you
are already on this, no need to respond.

Well, while you are working on the memory problems,
you might want to chech this out:

Seems that a signifcant number of people are having
problems with the mic on the phone. you can hear the
person you are talking to fine, but they can't hear
    you mcuh of the time.

Also there are complaints about how long of a lag time
there is when placing calls up to 5 seconds or so from
pressing the contact before the call is initiated.

Is this something that the memory re-do will take care

Laslty, if you didn't know it already, the written
documentation for upgrading to the 650 is wrong.

The most interesting part of this is "I believe you
are already on this." So it does appear that P1 is already aware there's a problem. The question now becomes: can it be fixed in firmware, or will it require a Rev B (or C) of the hardware?

I'm out of my mind. But feel free to leave a message.

I know we are over-stickied around here at times, but perhaps it would be good to leave this at the top for a day or so, so that everyone can see that P1 is at least aware of the issue.
