I've been using Palm handhelds since the first Palm 1000 and 5000. I'm comfortable with Palm Desktop, but when switching from the PC environment to Mac, I noticed that Palm Desktop for Mac leaves a lot to be desired.

So now I'm syncing with iCal and Address Book, but am looking for something better which will do an integrated backup of all content on the Treo, or at least the memos as well. I sync to a PC now in addition to my Mac to get all my info backed up.

I've resisted syncing to Outlook all these years on my PC (seems cumbersome to me), but now am considering Entourage, as I just ordered Office 2004 for Mac.

What desktop environment do you sync to? What are the advantages and disadvantages? What do you use to backup your memos?
