You install everything to the phone. When you launch express, and get to the page with all the channels in a row(where you update), you press on any channel except "alerts" for like 2 seconds(with your finger or stylus), and a pop up list will appear asking you if you want to "move to card". Do this for every channel, and you'll free up memory in no time. Doesn't seem to affect, updates, or create a time lag in launching apps. Everythings smooth.

Oh by the way... I got an email today, and version 1.3 is up and running. Just downloaded and installed. Great!

The treo 650 does come with klondike, you'll find it on the CD that's included in the Treo 650 package.

On the other hand, TreoHelper is not included with the Treo 650.

Here is my contribution to the list as I just loaded and tested my programs on my T650.

Working:
Abacus 2.21 (HP type calculator program)
Autobase 1.3.4 (Automotive expense tracking program)
Strip 1.0 (secure password protection/recall program)
PacDude 100% beta version (game)
ScorePad version 5.0 B56 (baseball scorekeeping program)
RosterPad Version 5.0 B3 (team roster program for ScorePad)

Does not work:
BeeOnTime 2.5 (Alarm clock program) - When you go to set an alarm the Treo 650 goes into a constant soft reset loop. Only a hard reset will allow exit from this loop. Hope the developer fixes this problem as I use this program a lot! If not, has anybody else had success with other alarm clock programs?
AutoEnginuity Scan Tool version 2.5 (An automotive OBDII engine diagnostic tool) - The program runs but requires a serial port to connect to the engine tool that plugs into the car. Someone needs to figure out a converter for the new USB only connector on the Palm. A number of technical specific palm software use only serial ports to communicate with devices that only have serial connections.

All my other programs are already listed.

has anybody else had success with other alarm clock rograms?

I've been happy with Bob's Alarm on my 600 for the past year. So far, Bob has already done one update after testing in the 650 simulator. Bob is one of the most responsive developers ever. In my limited testing on the 650 so far, no problems.

The program runs but requires a serial port to connect... Someone needs to figure out a converter for the new USB only connector on the Palm. A number of technical specific palm software use only serial ports to communicate with devices that only have serial connections.

Yeah, I sync my 600 to my UNIX box at work via Handspring's OEM serial sync cable. I have yet to see P1 indicate they'll provide one. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

Here's my request sent back from Brayder, makers of Jackflash and JackSprat. Not too surprising that they won't/can't support it for the Treo 650.

Agendus 8.06 is a disaster on the 650. Agendus 9b is even worse - the e-mail component destabilzed Versamail. I had to do a hard reset.

Works fine on my 650. I can open, browse, search, select topics, close books. I have about 20 of their books installed. Though, my books are all several years old, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
