My Treo especially and other cell phones make my speakers-home know what causes it and if it can be shielded somehow?

Mine makes the weirdest sounds through my computer speakers at times, plus I hear interference on a radio in my garage sometimes when I have the T600 nearby??

Usually a symptom of GSM phones & poor shielding, the amp is picking up and making audible the polling between the phone and the base towers, it gets much worse when the phone is in use.
Usual solution is to move the phone further away from the amp/computer.

The Hearing Aid Compatibility Act of 1988 contains new FCC guidelines for RF interference that go into effect in mid-2005. These new guidelines are expected to greatly reduce the interference from GSM/GPRS devices that produce this kind of buzzing.
