I actually went with the Cingular branded phone for the discount.. I noticed that it didn't give me an option to get the $449 phone with the two year plan, only the $499 phone with the 1 year plan... Unless I just missed it.
However, I did get the Media Works package for $19.99.
I noticed that most people who are commenting on their orders got the unbranded version. Does that mean that the unbranded will take longer to ship than the fewer number of people who got the branded? That would be nice.. (well, for me anyways...)

Barney, I'm a bit scared to get a clip on. I have had bad experiences where someone knocks into them and they fly off. Do you have any knowledge on the holsters with the belt loops?

I hate the bulky clip ons and most of them unfortunately are, except cody case which has a metal clip which is thin.
Its available for 600 and will take a month and a half for 650.
Most belt loops are sports case like.
There is a vertical pouch case in Treostore, which has belt loop..
SENA with magnetic flip for me.....

Ordered first thing this morning. (6:30am) Last night was the first night I didn't stay up till midnight to see if there were any updates on the P1 site before going to bed. (D'oh!) Anyway now to start anticipating (and whining) while waiting for it to ship. I can't believe it's not here yet, my god how long does it take them to pack a phone in a box, put it on a plane and fly it to Canada!
Speaking of which boy am I happy that they're shipping to Canada - and us Canadians get free overnigh express shipping. (It's the only shipping options for Canada so they throw it in gratis. Nice.) I also checked the http://palmone.com/ca/ sit this morning and on there it's as if the 650 doesn't exist yet.

Nutshell's case can be ordered with or without a tab or flap and with a belt clip or a multi angle belt loop. They're really pricey though. I have one for my T|3 and really like it.

I'm still here... major lurking, sorry. There are so much chaos with work and life right now that I don't have anything to contribute. I tried to do the FAN thing, but sounds like it didn't work. I will order it soon. I'm trying to wait a couple more days to see if there are better pricing than $499 for Cingular.
