    I am in the process of installing a repeater and I can't seem to get AT&T to tell me the bandwidth being used in my area (850 or 1900 MHz). Does anyone know af an app that will identify the bandwidth being used in a given location? I seem to remember that either the I705 or the Tungsten W had this built in and could not inly identify bandwidth but also tower location. Thanks.

    i don't think that either of those did GSM 850. get a cheap 1900 mHz only GSM phone. If it works at home, a 1900 repeater will be fine. If it doesn't and the Treo works, then you have 850
