I use my treo with several voice mail systems. I'd like to be able to do one or both of the following to shorten the tasks:

1. Post strings of extra digits with more than one hard pause. (So that I could, for example, put in a password, and then an extension that is dialed only after I hit a key - so that I could listen to random length messages my system sometimes sends me after the password, but before I enter my extension.)

2. I would like to be able to send various strings of DTMF tones while I am connected on a call without pressing the keys themselves - by using some sort of short cuts or speed keys. Does anyone know a way to, for example, assign digits to the keys on the keyboard that could be sent while the call is connected (as you can assign a phone number to the keys to dial it before you're connected.)

I've read a lot of the posts on here that seem to deal with these subjects, but none seem to have an answer for my problem(s). Any help or hints would be much appreciated.
