Today I had some dark graphics on my screen and I noticed a significant white splotch on the screen. It's smaller than a dime, and it doesn't appear against light graphics (like the default white menu background), but when any dark background or graphic is on the screen you can see it very well. On laptops, I've heard of these "watermarks," but it's a worse problem on a small screen.

The best way to test for this discoloration is to enter camera mode and cover the lens so the screen goes dark. If you can still see a white area, then you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anyone have that on their unit?

I'm wondering if I can do a Best Buy return (this was a Black Friday purchase) or if I need to go through the Sprint Store. and utilize my insurance

It's not earth-shattering, but it is fairly annoying for a $500-$600 product to have such a blatant screen defect.

OK, I checked the archive again and this time searched for "spot" instead of "splotch" "and "watermark."

    From these three separate threads:

...I see I'm not the only one.

Has anyone done a return and gotten a better replacement?
