I have searched far and wide for a "normal" sounding ringer for my Treo 600. I can't abide by phones that play tunes when a call comes in - I just don't associate a tune with an incoming call the way I do the sound of a normal phone, and the two "ring" sounds that ship with the Treo are really annoying!!

Anyone have a "normal" sounding ringer for a Treo 600? I guess it must be in the form of a Midi file for the 600 to be able to accept it (I tried an .MP3 which didn't work). Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend the above site if you're short on cash, check out http://www.mididb.com/ for free ring tones, tho they are short on "ringers" they have plenty of midi files.

Whats wrong with "loud ringer" thats a real phone sound. Like onr of the ols princess phones.

i too wish the treo 600 had a few more normal ringtones. i don't want songs, or anthems, or TV themes; i want it to sound like a phone when it rings.
