How do you force Palm Desktop to store its user profiles in a different drive (say, E:\, my Documents folder)? I tried copying it to E:\, but it did not work.

You can do from either inside the registry or in Palm Desktop.
(That is Palm Desktop through version 4, I think in 6, you can only do this through the registry.)

In Palm Desktop 4.x, go to Tools, Options, the General Tab.
Then you can move the location of the data directory. It will move the data for you as well.

I am not going to walk you through the registry change, because if you know enough about that, you can figure it out.

    It's in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop\Core\Path .
