I was running into an interesting phenomenon with my 680. A couple months ago, I was finding that when I initiated a call and then received a second call, if I didn't answer the second call coming in on call waiting, my first call would get disconnected when my 680 notified me of the missed call.

I called my provider (Cingular) and, through a process of elimination, I found that this problem went away once I purged my call log. Weird.

So, if anyone else is having this problem, or if you wish to avoid this problem, it's not a bad idea to regularly purge your call log. Hope this helps someone.
