I recently emailed Rogers to ask them if I would be able to use the 680 with my current SIM card on the Rogers network, and they wrote me back and said "Provided the Treo works at the 800/1.9 MHz frequencies it should work on our network"

On the spec sheet of the 680 it says,
    GSM/GPRS/EDGE-class 10 radio

    Quad band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

Bluetooth® 1.2 wireless technology, Infrared (IR)

Rogers is a GSM carrier, but I don't understand the frequencies because they already carry the 650.
Would anyone be able to tell me if the 680 will work on it?

The Rogers network is on 850 and 1900 mhz bands, Fido/Microcell is 1900 only.
