I respectfully request a response from a TreoCentral moderator, echoing Bob-C, qB11g and others, about the suggestions here that they contact Palm and ask about an update for the 700p.
I love my Treo but it does have issues that REALLY need to be addressed...just this morning I was listening to my voicemail and hit the 7 to erase a message, no response, hit it again, no response, #3, no response. 2 seconds later the phone dials all three 7's at once, screwing up the entire process! I've never had a phone act like this and I can't stand it!!
I am not one who supports knee-jerk class action suits but the COMPLETE lack of response about these significant, BASIC functional problems (MMS lockup, phone kludginess, bluetooth dysfunctionality, WSOD, etc...is it ALL the "data access bug"?) makes people talk about and often act on lawsuits.
PLEASE, mods, we love and support this great site/store, ask Palm the simple question re 700p update and post it here! At least if we know they are working on the issues we won't feel so out in the cold and talk about and act on leaving the Palm platform.
