I just got a 700p, and I'm using the default streaming app to listen to shoutcast. But after 1 minute of listening the treo turns off (auto-power off). I tried turning the auto power off off in the system settings, but it doesn't have that option, only 1-3min before it goes off.

Is there anyway to "keep it alive" without having to push buttons on the treo? If I upgrade to ptunes will it keep the treo awake when streaming or listening to music?

Also - what's the best way to turn off the keypad/screen and keep the music going?

You should try TreoMax. It's a free app that one of the members of this site made. There's a thread here. I don't stream music, but when I'm playing golf, my golf caddy software loses its connection with my bluetooth GPS receiver when the screen shuts off. This app let's you set the screen shut off time to 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes or never in any app. I used it for the first time this weekend and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps!
