I replaced my Treo 650 with a new one under the 30-day warranty. First I successfully re-setup the Bluetooth connection between my Powerbook and Treo 650. I then Hot Syned and watched as all my Media, Applications and other stuff (photos, etc...) got transfered over. It took awhile. The Treo even automatically rebooted during the process.

I checked, and everything was there (custom Favorites buttons, wallpaper, everything). But when I checked my Contacts, none of my Entourage contacts were there.

I tried Hot Syncing again and it transfered over some more stuff. But when it was finished, still no Entourage Contacts.

So then I tried running the Microsoft Handheld Sync Installer on my Powerbook. It gave the nomal warning message saying that it was turning off a bunch of the normal conduits. I Hot Sync'd again (this time it was really quick) and still....nothing.

Is there anything else I should try? Should I try Hot Syncing with the USB cable? (bluetooth seems to be working just fine)

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Here's what my HotSync log says:
    HotSync 3.2.1 started 10/15/06 9:09:49 PM
    Local Synchronization
    OK Install
    OK Media
    Syncing Address Book
    OK Syncing Address Book
    Syncing Notes
    OK Syncing Notes
    Syncing Calendar
    OK Syncing Calendar
    Syncing Tasks
    OK Syncing Tasks
    OK Entourage Conduit
    OK Install
    Backed up CurrentCarrier.pdb
    Backed up Saved Preferences.prc
    OK Backup
Last sync time and PC ID updated on handheld
    HotSync Complete 10/15/06 9:10:9 PM
Should it say that it's Syncing Calendar? Tasks? Etc...? I would assume that the Entourage Conduit would bring all that over wouldn't it?

Maybe someone could compare their settings with mine?
Here are photo settings of everything that I think would be pertinent:

    What am I missing?

I figured it out. Because I was just swapping my old phone for a new one of the exact same type, the Entourage Conduit (address/dates/tasks) wouldn't overwrite the data on the phone because it was the same user name.

So my solution was to go into the Entourage Conduit and select "Entourage Overwrites Handheld" for Address Book, Calendar, Tasks and Notes. Hot Sync then transfered all out Entourage data on to the Treo.

What's interesting is that when I went back into the Hot Sync Conduit Manager to change all the settings back to Syncronize, they had automatically switched themselves back. Slick!
