I'm sure this is a very basic skill using the Palm OS but I am flummoxed by it. When I have a phone number in an application other than the phone app (contacts, memo, notes, etc.) how do I dial the number without having to memorize it, write it down on a piece of paper, etc. I seem to remember that it's possible just to highlight the number somehow and, voila, it dials. I waste a lot of time a psychi energy on this and I'd like to solve it! Thanks!

You can highlight it then copy and paste into the phone menu or you could check out a program called "Phone Technician". I think it will highlight a number in any app and give you the option of dialing it right from the app.

Visor -> Treo 650 Cingular UNLocked (Cing. Blue Phone on Orange Network) -> vzw 700p -> VZW Centro (much better)

    MarknDial also does this nicely.
