to avoid total hard resets. im am trying to protect myself the best way for my moneys worth. since most of the problems with the treo come from all the thrid party programs, i was wondering...

1)would it be better to creat a backup point before installing new apps in case of problems?
2)would the restore leave files from the bad app on the phone after restore?
3)is there backup apps that COMPLETELY resote divice without these unwanted files that are better than others.

4)just use a uninstall manager to insure COMPLETE removal?

i know both would be great but since i just bought my 700p im a little short on cash. i would like to get an all in one app.

    thanks, cody

ps: what do you guys do, and what apps are you using?
