Have you guys ever had this problem? You are trying to delete a program in your treo. Only to find tons of little files, and you are not sure which ones are part of the program you are trying to delete.

Instead of having to delete each individual file, is there a software that allows you to easily remove a program from the treo?

    Thanks for the help.

    There are several Uninstallers around.

But since you already appear to have deleted some files,
the best bet is to figure out the "Creator ID" and delete
the remaining files with the same ID. Sometimes this is
not enough, as programs do create files with different IDs
(other than their own) and also modify some other files too.

Or you could reinsall the software (after installing a suitable
uninstaller) and remove it for good.

    thanks for the info, guys.

I don't feel like paying $20 for an uninstaller, because I'm only a poor surg resident. Is there a decent uninstaller out there you can recommend that's free?

I can tell you that it's worth every penny and I got the NeatFreak pack which includes the Cleanup app that removes orphan files.

But, there is Destaller Lite, which is freeware. I'm sure it will nag you to buy the Pro version but since it's free, you can't complain.
