Time for a new Treo 700p case

What are you guys getting for your baby?

I had this one for my Treo 650 and I liked it a lot. I might end up buying a new one.

The funny thing is, if you look at the bottom, they show a treo holster on it, which is funny because the holster is made to hold the treo face in...duh.

I'm getting a JavoEdge JavoSkin and a Sena Combo for my 700P. JavoEdge recently started adding reset holes in their skins to match the Seidio's battery cover w/ reset hole.

Those cases are nice, but I can't stand the size of the Treo already. Don't those cases just intensify the bulk?

am i the only guy who liked the original sleeve that came with the t600? i can't deal with belt clips and the like. i do like the thin leather sleeve that came with my 6600 but it doesn't offer much security, but what it lacks there it quickly makes up in being ultra slim.

say no to belt clips.

I'd like a case that would have a couple slots for SD cards, but can't find any I like. Any suggestions? Where do most of you keep your SD cards?

I'm going for the SENA leather case combo for my 700P (which arrives wednesday). The combo's can only be ordered via SENA's website.

Vaja is a little bit more expensive, but they're super well made and I like the fact that there's a little bit of padding around the phone. I have a vaja for my Ipod and it has held up really well. I ordered this one:

Both are clear hard cases from SPE, although the first one is only for the 650. I'm not sure what the differences between these two are, but the first one is only 1mm thick (not sure how thick the second one is), and the second one appears to have a bulky hinge on the side. Also, I use graffiti, so I don't want anything covering my screen.

the one nice thing with that vaja is that the cutout around the keyboard is a little more open on the sides allowing better button access for typing. The other ones like it are thicker and make it extremely hard to type effectively. I just can't seem dropping $94 on a case. I still have the same prototype proclip holster for my i5. I don't go through them like candy.

No problem. You'll be happy if you order it- they're top notch.

Sure, it's like $100, but the phone is expensive and to me it's worth it. Plus if/when it's time to trade out I think the vaja case will help fetch a bit more.

I've had that case in simple black for the entire life of my Treo 650. It has held up well, and protected my Treo during several nasty spills. One issue recently though. At work, people often bump into my Treo as they move past me (I'm a big guy). About a month ago a buddy did just that, and his stupid 6700 El Cheapo case that comes with the phone locked with my Vaja and the back piece of leather, just below the rocker switch and PTT-looking button ripped off. I was pissed. Some super glue and about fifteen minutes of patient case holding fixed the problem, and there've been no issues since, but it still bothered me. Case still looks phenomenal, but with the 700P on its way its probably time to pony up for a new one. And yes, I did go for the laser etching on the back. Says "Doctor Doom". >:-)

I had a similar case for a palm 550 and when I sold it on ebay a year later the case fetched me a premium bid. The Veja is for me as soon as I get my 700p!

I like the Vaja, but I need a belt clip and I hate holding my Treo when it's in a case with a belt clip or a stub for a belt clip on the back. I wish Vaja made something like the Sena Combo.
