Compared 2 CNB 650 and noticed differs the last 5 digits IMEI, and the last 3 digits SN. Anyone has the code for these digits?

All GSM phones worldwide have IMEIs. If you look at some from different manufacturers, the numbers do form a pattern--the numbers are probably assigned in blocks to given manufacturers and given carriers. The SN is Palm's own serial number.

some digits in SN may indicate the date and month the unit was built ... that's what I'd like to know.

calico - Is the IMEI site trustworthy? Isn't IMEI kind of a unique ID and if in wrong hands very bad thing can happen?

I hope it is trustworthy. I tested this site and my phone is still working.
But you're right there could be a risk. To be sure you can find out more
about the meaning of the IMEI by a google search, as i did. There is
quite a lot of information about it.

calico - thanks for the IMEI info. How about SN? It should contain the day code as the date/month/place the 650 was first made.

    Anyone on SN?
