    I've had my 6601 for about a month now, and I'm just not satisfied with it. It's not the beep of death or loose keyboard, but rather its size. I thought I could deal with its larger size (I did own a 330 for about a year), but it's just too much of a pain. I wouldn't mind keeping it on my belt, but I'm a diabetic and use an insulin pump which stays on my belt (looks like a beeper); I don't want to turn my belt into a Batman utility belt. I also would like a device that's easier to use w/ one-hand...the 6601 just isn't cutting it for me in that aspect.

    Is there any other route I can go down besides selling the 6601 on eBay and buying the 650 w/ those funds? I've had a i500 replaced w/ an i600 in the Sprint store, so I would think they'd be open to replacing my 6601 w/ the 650.

    Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

    Take in into a Sprint store and talk to them. They are supposed to have extended the return period for all phones until 1/31/05 due to the holidays. They'll probably work with you, especially since the 6601 is more expensive than the 650.

    But since the stores obvivously don't carry the 6601, think they will take one in an exchange? I wouldn't be surprised if some of the CSRs didn't even recognize the phone.

    Given the fact that apparently sprint extended the return date, and that the 660x is currently NOT available via retail...aka Sprint Store. Call TeleSales or Busines Sales (NOT Customer Service!) and see what they can do for you.

    I have found that Sprint can do pretty much whatever they want to....the key is find someone who wants to. You may have to call back several times to ask the same question to find someone who might be will to help. This has worked for me at least 90% of the time for weird situations I have been in.
